Suspected DUI Driver Found To Have Stolen Gun In Manhattan Beach

The convicted felon was pulled over for a suspected driving under the influence when Manhattan Beach Police discovered he had a stolen gun.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A convicted felon was pulled over around 8 a.m. this morning [Saturday, Oct. 3] in Manhattan Beach for suspected driving under the influence, the Manhattan Beach Police Department reported on its Facebook page.

MBPD officers stopped the vehicle near Aviation Boulevard and Marine Avenue. The driver was found to be concealing a stolen handgun in his pants, said MBPD. "Among many other charges, he was arrested for a felon possessing a firearm and DUI Drugs & Alcohol," MBPD reported on its FB post.
