Trader Joe's Robbed; Suspect Takes Cash In Manhattan Beach

The robber is believed to be associated to a string of robberies throughout Los Angeles County, according to Manhattan Beach Police Dept.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Trader Joe's on Rosecrans Avenue in Manhattan Beach was robbed last Wednesday night, Sept. 30, said Sergeant Tim Zins of the Manhattan Beach Police Department. The suspect got away with $2,000 in cash. No one was physically hurt in the incident.

The suspect, who had a black handgun, wore a blue hoodie and black face mask and is described as a Black male, 5' 8" to 5' 9". He entered the store, brandished a gun, took cash from the cash register and fled, said Zins.

The suspect is believed to be wanted in several similar robberies throughout Los Angeles County, noted Zins.
