Two Suspects Arrested After High-Speed Chase In Manhattan Beach
The car crashed in the Wilmington area, and the two suspects were arrested after a short foot chase.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Two suspects are in custody Thursday in Manhattan Beach after leading officers on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle that crashed in the Wilmington area.
Manhattan Beach Police Department officers had tried to pull over the vehicle about 2:15 a.m. in the 200 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard, but it sped off, Manhattan Beach police Officer Christopher Ineguez said.
"The pursuit was terminated in the city of Los Angeles due to excessive speeds," Ineguez said. "However, officers were authorized to trail the vehicle due to an LAPD airship assisting officers ..."

The stolen vehicle crashed in the 200 block of West Opp Street, and the two people in the car were arrested after a short foot chase.
Their names were not immediately available.
