Winners Get A Prize In Downtown Manhattan Beach Pumpkin Contest

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The winners in a Pumpkin Decorating Contest staged by the Downtown Manhattan Beach Business + Professional Association with the Manhattan Beach Parks & Recreation Department have been revealed on the DTMB Instagram account and the DTMB website.

Names have not been announced. Instead the decorator of the winning pumpkins are advised to go to the business where they may collect their prize, a $25 gift certificate from the business.

The Best Kids Creation goes to a dog with ears wearing a mask; Good Enought To Eat is a pumpkin cleverly disguised as a yummy mouthwatering hamburger; Most Original is a Spa faced pumpkin; Most Artistic is a super cute creation; Scariest is a hair raising, disgustingly scary looking something or other, and MB Local Love a creative beach scene.

The winners, listed on the Downtown Manhattan Beach Business + Professional website, were determined by online voting by the public. Prizes included $25 gift certificates for Tabula Rasa Essentials, Gum Tree, Rock'n Fish, Right Tribe, Bo Bridges Gallery and the Manhattan Beach Farmers Market.
