Bacteria Warning: Avoid Swimming At This Beach In Marina Del Rey
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health cautions residents who are planning to visit several Los Angeles County beaches.

MARINA DEL REY, CA — Several Los Angeles County beaches remain under bacteria warning, including Mother’s Beach in Marina del Rey.
The warnings were issued Tuesday night due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health cautions residents who are planning to visit the below Los Angeles County beaches to avoid swimming, surfing, and playing in ocean waters:

- Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey
- Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica
- Malibu Lagoon at Surfrider Beach
- Topanga Canyon Beach in Malibu
Recent sample results identified water quality levels were within state standards and a warning was lifted for Pico-Kenter Storm Drain at Santa Monica Beach, Santa Monica Tower 20 and Herondo Street Storm Drain at Hermosa Beach.
