MARINA DEL REY, CA — The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued an ocean water use warning for several beaches, including Mother's Beach in Marina Del Rey.

Health officials caution residents who are planning to visit the below Los Angeles County beaches to avoid swimming, surfing, and playing in ocean waters:

  • Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey
  • Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica
  • Malibu Lagoon at Surfrider Beach
  • Solstice Creek at Dan Blocker County Beach
  • Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro
  • Topanga Canyon Beach in Malibu

The warnings were issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested.
