Big Blue Bus Service Routes Changes Affecting Marina Del Rey
Route 1 will no longer stop in Marina Del Rey and Route 18 will add Marina Del Rey stops.

MARINA DEL REY, CA — Big Blue Bus Route 1 will no longer stop in Marina Del Rey, however, Route 18 will expand to include stops in the city, according to the schedule updates that went into effect Sunday.
The updates are part of the agency's series of changes called the Evolution of Blue, which was designed to link routes to the newly expanded Expo line. The goal was to attract new riders who may not have considered public transportation as a viable option to travel around the Westside, the agency said.
Route 1 will end in Venice at Venice Circle. Service south of Venice to Marina Del Rey will be served by the newly revised Route 18. The new route will be extended from Venice’s Abbot Kinney south to Marina Del Rey via Abbot Kinney and Washington boulevards.
