An unattended bag, which turned out to contain camera equipment, prompted a brief evacuation of part of Terminal 1 at Los Angeles International Airport today.
An unattended bag, which turned out to contain camera equipment, prompted a brief evacuation of part of Terminal 1 at Los Angeles International Airport today.
The unattended bag was discovered about 7:25 a.m. near the gate area of the terminal, which serves Southwest Airlines, said Marshall Lowe of Los Angeles World Airports.
The gate area was cleared, and the TSA screening process was stopped while authorities conducted an investigation. The area was declared safe shortly before 8 a.m., Lowe said.
No flights were affected, he said.
