Capri Gelato Celebrates 2 Years In Marina Del Rey
The store will offer customers free cold brew whipped cream shots and free gelato for locals only available on the Oct. 17 anniversary.

MARINA DEL REY, CA — Capri Gelato & Coffee Bar in Marina Del Rey announced the store will be celebrating its second anniversary with free cold brew whipped cream shots for all customers and free gelato for locals who visit.
The free coffee shot will only be available on the day of the store's anniversary, Oct. 17. Customers who bring their local ID or who wear a shirt supporting a local small business or school will receive a complimentary gelato or coffee drink.
“The Marina Del Rey community has supported us and kept our small business alive during the pandemic," Gelato Chef Robert Mahler said. "The love for coffee and quality products has reached the locals and our initial dependence on tourism has completely shifted. Marina Del Rey, we are here to stay!”

The Italian ice cream shop drew national attention after it was featured on Food Network's "Bobby and Sophie on the Coast" where celebrity chef Bobby Flay and his daughter Sophie visited the store on the Sept. 5 episode of the show.
New, handcrafted flavors are released every Friday and customers should look out for upcoming fall flavors including Butter Pecan, Caramel Pumpkin Spice, Dirty Chai, Pumpkin Chai Spice and Burnt Honey and Vanilla. The shop also offers iconic fall coffee beverages like the Pumpkin Pie Latte, Sea Salt Mocha and Spicy Mango Tea.

The shop is located at 422 Lincoln Blvd. and will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 17.
