Report of 'Person In Water' In Marina Del Rey Turns Up Homeless Belongings
Authorities are still trying to determine if the belongings are those of a drowning victim, county fire officials said

MARINA DEL REY, CA — A search-and-rescue operation was conducted late Monday morning on an unconfirmed report that a homeless person may have fallen into the water, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The search was conducted in the 2200 block of Bali Way, near Basin F, according to the county fire department.
Lifeguards and divers found a shopping cart and an apparent suitcase in the water, according to ABC7.
