LAUSD Superintendent to Address Local Residents

Dr. John Deasy will speak at the Del Rey Resident’s Association about the transformation at the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Dr. Deasy became superintendent of LAUSD in April 2011, and he was featured in the Los Angeles Magazine September cover story. 

The meeting will be held on Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marina del Rey Middle School, located at 12500 Braddock Dr. in Del Rey.  

Anyone interested in learning about Dr. Deasy’s goals for Los Angeles’ schools, including the eight Del Rey schools and Venice High School is welcome to attend the meeting.
