
The 4th annual motorcycle poker run to benefit Miriam's House , a transitional home for women and children in recovery will be held on Oct. 14, starting at Bartels' Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey.
Christopher Reed, from the FX series Sons of Anarchy, will be the grand marshall of the 30-mile ride that will take riders from Marina del Rey to Malibu.
The event will feature live music, food a raffle and a live auction. All bikers are welcome to join the ride, and all non-riders can attend the barbecue at Bartels' at noon.

All proceeds from the event will go toward the Promises Foundation, a nonprofit, to benefit Miriam's House .
"We are thrilled to bring together our friends from the motorcycle, entertainment, and business communities to support the Promises Foundation's mission to help women and children of Miriam's House," said Bryan Moeller, chairman of the board of directors of the Promises Foundation.

Promises Foundation is asking for a donation of $25 per biker, $15 per rider, $10 for the b and $5 for children.
All profits go toward helping keep women and children safe and sober.
