FantaSea Yacht Club Closes Marina Del Rey Banquet Hall
A 'substantial' rent increase was the reason behind the closure.

MARINA DEL REY, CA — The FantaSea Yachts & Yacht Club has closed its banquet hall in Marina Del Rey because of a rent increase, according to the Argonaut News.
The company said it was forced to close the banquet hall in order to save jobs and focus on its charter business. Keeping the banquet hall would have required laying off staff or raising charter prices, something owner Daniel Ginzburg said he was unwilling to do.
The banquet has been hosting weddings, corporate events, retirement and graduating parties in Marina Del Rey since 1980, according to the Argonaut.
