Free Gas for Honda Owners in Marina del Rey Thursday Morning

A big, blue tanker truck will bring free gas to Honda owners in Marina del Rey Thursday morning at 8:20 a.m., representatives for SoCal Honda Dealers announced.

The truck, part of the SoCal Honda Dealers' "Helpful Honda Team" campaign, will pay a visit at an undisclosed location. During its visit, representatives will pump free gas for anyone driving a Honda for approximately 30-45 minutes.

"Recognized by their iconic blue polos, the Helpful teams will surprise loyal Honda drivers with complimentary tanks to kick off the long holiday weekend," the company said in a news release.

While the exact location of the truck's stop in Marina del Rey was not released, representatives for the campaign said they will release clues about the location  through the SoCal Honda Dealers' Twitter (@HelpfulHonda) and Facebook accounts.

On Wednesday, a representative with SoCal Honda said the truck will stop somewhere along Lincoln Boulevard.

The marketing campaign runs through Labor Day with the truck making stops across Southern California during that time.
