It's time to get in the holiday spirit with the Marina Del Rey Boat Parade and Fireworks this weekend.

MARINA DEL REY, CA — The Marina del Rey boat parade and fireworks are scheduled for Saturday in Marina del Rey.

The festive event begins at 4 p.m. Saturday with caroling, food trucks and a festive photo booth at Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina Del Rey.

A fireworks show starts at 5:55 p.m. and then the boat parade kicks off at 6 p.m. at 13755 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey.

"Watch a trail of lighted boats cruise through the main channel," organizers said. "Arrive early to grab a spot on the lawn at Burton Chace Park or a good photo spot at Fisherman’s Village, two of the most popular viewing places."

Narration on a PA system is available at both locations. The fireworks site is on the jetty near the entrance of the main channel.

The 2021 parade theme is 'Joy on the Water' and celebrates its 59th year. A brief fireworks show at 5:55 p.m. announces the start of the parade, which lasts until about 8 p.m. Admission is free.
