Lakers Rookie Brandon Ingram Says He's Moving to Marina Del Rey
The No. 2 NBA Draft pick made the announcement at the Dodgers game last week.

MARINA DEL REY, CA — Los Angeles Lakers rookie forward Brandon Ingram made a surprising announcement at the Los Angeles Dodgers game last week — he was moving to Marina Del Rey.
Ingram was selected to throw out the first pitch at the Sept. 21 game. He received a loud ovation from Dodgers fans. When asked where he was going to live, Ingram, who played for Duke in college told the in-stadium host, "I'm going to live in the Marina."
Living in Marina Del Rey has its advantages. The Lakers' training center is located in nearby El Segundo.

Athletes living on the coast in Los Angeles is common. L.A. Kings Jeff Carter, Dustin Brown and Jonathan Quick all live in the South Bay beach cities.
