LAPD Seeks Playa Vista Shooting Suspects
Police are asking the public to help identify two suspects involved in a shooting in Playa Vista.
PLAYA VISTA, CA — Los Angeles police detectives Friday asked the public to help identify two suspects involved in a shooting caught on video last week in Playa Vista.
The victim parked his car when a suspect approached him, parking his vehicle near him on Shared Drive, east of South Center Campus Drive, in Playa Vista about 10:25 a.m. Sept. 21, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
They started arguing and a woman got out of the suspect's car with a bag during the confrontation, police said. The suspect then pulled a gun out of the bag and started firing at the victim.

The victim tried to flee and put his car in reverse, crashing into a wall and then driving away, police said. The suspects got back in their car and chased after the victim.
The victim circled back to the location of the crime and was stopped by patrol officers, police sad. The victim was not injured in the shooting or car crash.

Police describe the suspect as a 25- to 30-year-old Black man, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and between 180 and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white or gray T-shirt, black track pants and black shoes.
The accomplice was described as a 20-year-old Black woman, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a thin build. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, light-colored pants and black fuzzy footwear.
The suspect vehicle was described as a 2015 to 2021 black four-door sedan.
Anyone with information on the shooting was asked to call LAPD Pacific Area Officer Jurado at 310-482-6369. Calls made during non-business hours or on weekends can be directed to 877-527-3247.
