A man rappelled off the side of a Marina del Rey condominium complex and broke into a woman’s apartment on Saturday, KTLA reported.
While dangling, he knocked on the window of a woman’s 15th floor apartment at the Regatta complex on Maxella Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard, and when she refused to let him in, he pried the window open.
He did not take any property from her home and was able to get away. About 30 feet of rope was found hanging from the roof of the building, according to KTLA.

Police have not releases a description of the suspect.
