New Construction Project Begins on Admiralty Way

Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction on Admiralty Way in Marina del Rey.

A new two-week road construction project began this week, reducing Admiralty Way to just one lane in each direction.

According to the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works, the Admiralty Way Street Improvement Project will help enhance traffic flow and capacity in the area.

The current construction project is part of a bigger $54 million project that when completed, will improve streets, replace water and sewer systems and also address groundwater and odor concerns in the area.

For the current phase of road construction, the following roads will be affected:

  • Admiralty Way between Fiji Way and Via Marina
  • Via Marina between Washington Boulevard and Marquesas Way
