Rain Soaks Marina del Rey
The winter storm also brought about a half-inch of rain to some South Bay cities.

Nearly a quarter-inch of rain fell on Marina del Rey by Saturday afternoon, according to unofficial automated rain gauges.
Los Angeles County Department of Public Works sensors reported .20 inches of rain near Marina del Rey by 3:20 p.m.
The South Bay was hit hardest. Sensors detected .46 inches of rain at Manhattan Beach, .43 inches at El Segundo, and .26 on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Other significant rain amounts included .31 near Sylmar and .20 at Malibu Canyon and Big Rock Mesa, in Malibu.
Several stations in the San Gabriel Mountains reported .20 inches of rain or more.—City News Service.
