Sunny Afternoons and Antica Pizzeria Seeks New Home in Marina del Rey
The National Weather Service predicts sunny afternoons today and tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s.

Today is Sept. 27. It is the 270th day of the year. We are under a new moon. Sunset will occur about 6:45 p.m. Here are five things to know:
1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for sunny skies with a high near 77 degrees with patchy fog expected after 11 p.m. and an overnight low around 63 degrees. Forecasters expect patchy fog Wednesday morning with gradual clearing and an afternoon high near 76 degrees.
2. Antica Pizzeria is looking for a new spot in the Marina del Rey area after reaching the end of its lease at the Villa Marina Marketplace. More details on their website.
3. Ten kayakers from the UCLA Marina Aquatic Center are preparing for a 26-mile voyage Oct. 1 to Catalina Island and Patch blogger J.W. Nelson is chronicling their efforts in a multi-part series. Check out Part 1, Part 2 or today's Part 3.
