“A K-9 united responded to the call and a dog alerted to the bag,” he said. ”That was when the bag was deemed suspicious and the bomb squad was notified.”
The bag was located at the end of the concourse of Terminal 6 and gates 67 through 69 were evacuated, Pedregon said.

The passengers were pushed back toward the front of the terminal, near the security check, he said.
The bomb squad scanned the bag and dermined it was non-hazardous and an all-clear was declared at 12:37 p.m., Pedregon said.
The bag has since been removed and gates at the terminal are slowly being repopulated, he said.
