2 Arrested, Tied To String Of Contra Costa Business Burglaries: Police

Police say they have arrested two men suspected of commercial burglary in Brentwood.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- Two men suspected of being responsible for a commercial burglary that occurred Saturday in Brentwood have been arrested according to police officials, and at least one of the men may have been involved in several other break-ins.

At about 8 a.m., officers responded to a call about a possible burglary at a business in the 8400 block of Brentwood Boulevard.

The investigation led police to identify Ty Leighton, 21, and Alexander Hernandez, 26, as suspects, according to police.

Officers say they also recovered evidence from Leighton's residence that allegedly ties him to several other break-ins over the past several weeks, police said.

The men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property.
