Update: Alhambra High Lockdown Over, Search Found Nothing
Officials completed their search of Alhambra High and found nothing, according to the district Website.
A morning-long lockdown and search of Alhambra High School by district administrators and Martinez police is over, according to the district Website.
It is not yet known why the school was on lockdown, or what was being searched for. Students inside the school were texting to parents that each classroom was being searched.
"The search has been completed and no problem was found," according to the Website. Assistant superintendent Rick Rubino said that details of this morning's lockdown will be released later today.
