The City of Martinez and Allied Waste will co-host a public workshop onThursday, June 21, 2012, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Martinez City Council Chambers located at 525 Henrietta Street, to educate the large business community (defined as generators of greater than 4 cubic yards of garbage per week) about the new mandatory recycling program, and provide resources to help ensure the program’s effective implementation.
Please RSVP to (925) 671-5814 if you would like to attend on behalf of your business. The City and Allied will co-host a second workshop in August to educate the small business community about the mandatory commercial recycling program. Details for that workshop will be released in mid-July.
