October 22
No fare β A cab driver reported dropping off a man from Walnut Creek at the Quik Stop Market on Muir Road who refused to pay and left on foot.
iTheft β An employee of Enterprise Rental Car on Alhambra Avenue reported that her iPhone was stolen off the counter.
RV living β A resident of Arreba Street reported that a couple have been living in an RV for about a week, and itβs making the neighbors nervous.
Auto theft β A car was stolen from Ashwood Drive.
Precarious situation β A man reported that one of his clients on Milden Road was in a car that was hanging off the embankment, and he didnβt want to take his foot off the brake in case the car fell off. Officers responded and assisted.
October 23
Fare weather friend β A cab driver reported picking up a fare downtown and driving to Brown Street, and waited more than 30 minutes for the customer to return with the fare.
Theft from auto β An unlocked car was broken into and a cell phone and GPS system were stolen.
Clean getaway β A washer and dryer were stolen from a home on Jones Street.
Early construction β Residents complained about construction at the old court house on Ward and Pine streets occurring on Sunday morning.
Early Halloween β A couple on Green Street arrived home after a weekend away to find their garage door and back door open. The man heard footsteps and walked through the house, and someone turned the lights off.
October 24
No picture, no sale β A woman tried to pass a counterfeit $5 bill at the Shell station on Alhambra Avenue; the bill had no presidential picture on it.
Stolen car β A car was stolen from Holiday Hills Drive.
Theft from vehicles β Two cars were broken into on Sterling Drive, and money and other items were taken.
Yoga mechanic β A man was seen at the Taco Bell on Muir Road by a red truck βin a yoga position with a screwdriver.β
Auto theft β A car was stolen from Roanoke Drive and Parklane Plaza.
Theft from car β A wallet and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked car on Redwood Drive. The card was later used four times.
Neighborhod going to pot β A resident of Ricks Avenue and Gilger Avenue requested extra police patrols between the hours of 7 and 9 am due to teenagers hanging out in the area and smoking marijuana.
Theft from auto β A guitar and a skateboard were stolen from a car on Alhambra Avenue.
More than barefoot in the park β A man in his late 50s was reported running naked through Rankin Park.
Theft from home β A laptop, camera and other times were stolen from a home on Breckenridge Court, after someone broke in through the garage side door.
