Bubbles For Boobs This Wednesday At Roxx On Main

“It’s going to be amazing,” said Sean Andrade, speaking of the charitable event Bubbles for Boobs, this Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Roxx on Main, 627 Main St.

The event is a fundraiser for Friends of Faith, Inc., a group that provides treatment and treatment support for uninsured and underserved women in Contra Costa and Alameda counties who are battling breast cancer. The group is named after Faith Fancher, local broadcast journalist who was one of the first women to “step out of the privacy box and expose her story of breast cancer,” Andrade said.

“There are a lot of underprivileged, underserved women out there,” said Roxanne Cole, owner of Roxx on Main. “The money we raise at this event will go specifically to women in Contra Costa and Alameda counties.”

Each participant will receive a glass of sparking Rose’ to begin the evening, followed by a specially prepared menu of savory to sweet tapas, each paired with champagne or sparkling wine selected by Andrade specifically for the specific dishes.

There will also be a silent auction, a raffle, door prize drawing and live music by local favorites Savage White.
