'Christmas House' on Walnut Street Devoured By Flames
An early morning fire destroyed the Brock family home.
An early-morning fire engulfed the Brock family home on Walnut Street Tuesday. According to local TV news reports, the fire broke out around 4 a.m. Everyone in the house got outside with no injuries reported.
The home was famous for its annual holiday displays, especially the . Owner Joe Brock and his wife went all out and covered the front yard with hundreds of lights, statues and holiday memorabila.
Tuesday morning, Brock looked devastated as he surveyed the remains of his home. Neighbors embraced him as he wandered back and forth, clearly in a state of shock. A firefighter handed him an American flag that had been recovered from the wreckage.
