City Of Martinez Accepting Community Grant Applications
Fourteen local organizations were approved last year to receive community grants.
MARTINEZ, CA — The City of Martinez is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit community organizations for the new Fiscal Year 2023-24, which starts July 1, 2023.
Funding for the Fiscal Year 2023-24 program will be provided through the City's General Fund and from American Rescue Plan funds.
Applications will be reviewed by City staff, considered by the Budget and Finance Subcommittee, and forwarded with recommendations to the City Council.

There is no funding cap requirement with this application. Each funding request will be reviewed and considered on a case-by-case basis.
Fourteen local organizations were approved last year to receive community grants. Past recipients have included the Boys & Girls Club, Loaves and Fishes, Meals on Wheels, Martinez Historical Society, Sea Scout Ship Albatross, Worth a Dam, RES Success, Special Olympics, Hospice East Bay, Feet First Foundation, Homeless Action Coalition, Christmas for Everyone, Juvenile Hall Auxiliary and the John Muir Association.

Nonprofits seeking funding must complete this application form and email it to Communications@cityofmartinez.org by 2 p.m. Friday, April 28.
