Elderly Martinez Man With Dementia Reported Missing

Authorities on Wednesday night were looking for an 86-year-old Martinez man with early signs of dementia who was reported missing.

The California Highway Patrol posted a Tweet just before 9 p.m. Wednesday night asking for the public's help in locating the man.

"Martinez PD looking for an 86 yr old white male with early signs of dementia driving a blue 06 Toyt 4 Runner - Lic# 5VZN277 - call MPD w/info," the Tweet from @CHP_GoldenGate reads.

According to the CHP, Alfred Hopkins was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, khaki pants, black shoes and glasses.

The CHP also said a Silver Alert had not been activated as of 9:15 p.m.
