Flaring Draws HazMat Response To Rodeo Phillips 66 Refinery

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — A hazardous materials team with Contra Costa Health Services was responding Tuesday to flaring at the Phillips 66 Refinery in Rodeo, county officials said.

The hazmat team will conduct air monitoring in Rodeo due to the flaring.

No offsite health impacts related to this incident have been reported to Contra Costa Health Services, the agency wrote on Twitter shortly before 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.
