MARTINEZ, CA -- The colorful scenes above that you've feasted your eyes on are of a massive kite being flown in the East Bay, or to be more specific, the Martinez Marina on North Court Street.
The images were sent to us by local resident Maria Joachim and we like them so much that we've designated them as our Patch Photos of the Week!

"It was massive, as you can see by the people in the photos," Maria told Patch. "It was staked to the ground, but it was big enough to carry the house in (the movie) UP."
