Host Families Still Needed For Martinez Sturgeon Baseball Players

"A vital part of a successful season is to have host families provide housing for the players and a family atmosphere for the summer."

MARTINEZ, CA — The Martinez Sturgeon Professional Baseball Team is searching for a few more host families for its 2023 season.

Its players travel from all over the United States —and some from other countries — to spend a summer in Martinez and play for the Sturgeon Baseball Team.

"A vital part of a successful season is to have host families provide housing for the players and a family atmosphere for the summer," the Sturgeon Boosters said via email Tuesday. "We work extremely hard and take pride in providing our players with a safe, comfortable family environment. These young men will have a positive influence in our community and in your home."
