Martinez Photo Contest Accepting Submissions
The winning photographs will be showcased in the City of Martinez's 2017-19 budget document.

MARTINEZ, CA -- Calling all amateur and professional photographers: the City of Martinez wants to see your work.
The city is sponsoring a photo contest to coincide with its upcoming biennial budget, with the winning photographs of the city are to be showcased in Martinez's 2017-19 budget document.
The city says pictures should be high resolution (1 MB or greater) color digital images in landscape format that illustrate the beauty, character, and charm of Martinez.

The city also asks that when submitting photos, that you describe your pictures and specify where and when they were taken. The limit is three pictures per participant.
The winners and their submissions are to be recognized at a future City Council meeting and will receive byline credit in the budget.

The deadline for submittal is Friday, Feb. 24. Images should be sent to mtzphotos@cityofmartinez.org, but the city says its email system cannot accept more than 5 MB at one time, so large files should be sent separately if they total greater than 5 MB.
