Martinez School District Announces 'I Have A Dream' Art Contest Winners
Winners will be honored at Monday's school board meeting.
The Martinez Unified School District has announced the winners of its "I Have A Dream" Art Contest honoring the 50th anniversary of The Dream Speech.
Martinez students were invited to create artwork inspired by a word or phrase from The Dream Speech. Entries were due Sept. 27

9-12th Grade Winner:  Melissa Hansen, Alhambra High School
6th-8th Grade Winner:  Matthew Panelo, Martinez Junior High School

3rd-5th Grade Winner:  Giovanna Garbarino, John Swett Elementary School
Winners will be honored at the Board Meeting on Monday, Oct. 14 at about 6:30 p.m. All artwork will be on display in the District Office beginning Oct. 21.
