Meet 'The Sandlot' Writer, Director At Martinez Screening
The event at Contra Costa Cinemas benefits Marinez Sturgeon baseball players.
MARTINEZ, CA — Community members are invited to meet the writer and director of "The Sandlot," Dave Mickey Evans, for a question-and-answer and autograph session, then enjoy a screening of his classic film.
The event is planned for noon Saturday, May 27, at Contra Costa Cinemas, 555 Center Ave. in Martinez.
All seats are $40, and the proceeds benefit Martinez Sturgeon baseball players.
