Parks Subcommittee to Discuss Hidden Valley Improvements

Gopher hole repair, exercise circuit restoration on this list of expenditures.

The Park, Recreation, Marina and Cultural Commission Park Subcommittee (say it five times fast) will meet at 4 p.m. today to hear some preliminary ideas for fixing up Hidden Valley Park.

City Engineer Tim Tucker will advise the subcommittee about plans to repair gopher holes, restore the adult exercise circuit, and repair the restrooms at the popular facility.

The project is part of the $4 million in remaining park bond money that totaled $15 million. Other projects to be funded will be Cappy Ricks tennis courts, Hidden Lakes ball fields, and the tennis and basketball courts at Nancy Boyd Park.
