Police Log: Broken Car Windows, Stare Downs, And Coat Hangers Stuck In Casts

November 28
Grand theft β A resident reported that his belongings from his wrecked car were scattered all over Copart Auto Auction on Waterfront Road. A laptop and other items were also reported missing.
Petty theft β A woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Walmart on Arnold Drive.

Medical call β A call was received about a coat hanger stuck inside of a leg cast and cutting the leg. Con Fire was called.
November 29

Car windows broken β A resident of Pine Street reported that the windows of his car were broken out.
Unhappy β A man in a wheelchair in front of Bank of America on Main Street was reported screaming racial and threatening remarks.
Found property β A wheelchair was found in the bushes at the corner of Franklin Canyon Road and Alhambra Avenue.
Finders are not keepers β A customer of US Gas on Alhambra Avenue reported leaving his wallet on the counter, and another man left with it later. The store has video.
Stare down β A woman reported that seven juveniles in heavy jackets refused to move out of the street as she drove by, and stared her down as she passed.
November 30
Burglary β A resident of Shasta Drive reported a tall young person in a black hoody going through his work truck, which was locked.
Hang out β A resident reported several juveniles smoking marijuana at an unoccupied residence at F Street and Castro Street.
Suspicious person β A report was received of an older man on a bike in the Walgreenβs parking lot, tampering with car doors to see if they were locked. He was gone when police arrived.
