Police Log - Raw Sewage Release, Sermon At The Bocce Court, Late Night Leaf Blowing

October 13

TP on fire – Someone set toilet paper on fire in the women’s restroom a the bocce courts on Joe DiMaggio Drive, damaging the walls.

Wheels discovered – A resident of H Street found a bicycle on his lawn.

Smashed window – A car window was smashed on Virginia Hills Drive, but nothing was stolen.

Attempted theft from car – Someone tried to break into a car at Carcia’s Auto Detail on Howe Road; the car had a broken door and the steering column was tampered with, but nothing was stolen.

Raw sewage release – Raw sewage was released from the Ozol Train Yard on Embarcadero.

Porch theft – A woman on Rolling Hill Way reported that she had UPS deliver a package, shortly after which a woman came up to the porch and took the package.

Threat – A man was arrested on suspicion of criminal threat when a woman reported him yelling at her while she was sitting in her vehicle on Fountainhead Court.

October 15

Found the light – A resident of Appalachian Drive found a number of solar lights in his yard.

Let there be bocce – A man was arrested for public drunkenness at the bocce courts at Waterfront Park after he was reported preaching bible sermons to the bocce players.

Stolen saddle – A $3800 saddle was reported stolen from Reliez Valley Road.

Recycled recycling – A man was reported refusing to leave Vv Recycling on Pacheco Boulevard after he sold some items to the company, took the money, then demanded the items back.

No pants – A man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness when he was reported sitting in a car on Ward and Las Juntas streets in a checkered button up shirt and no pants on.

October 16

Egging on – A person is reported running through a complex at Farm Lane and Village Place, throwing eggs at residences.

Stolen car – A car was stolen from the Hillside Apartments on F Street.

The buck stops here – A large deer was seen on the corner of Ferry and Main streets, running into glass doors like it was trying to get into the shops, at around 7 p.m.

Blowing in the wind – A complaint is received about use of a leaf blower at the 24 Hour Fitness on Alhambra Avenue at around 11 p.m.
