Armed robbery at the Marina – A 17-year-old girl and her boyfriend at the Marina with 25 other friends were robbed at gunpoint by four men, all wearing black hoodies, who walked away toward Port Costa.
Auto writing – A woman on Village Oaks Drive reported that someone wrote on her car, and it has happened several other times in the past.

Cell help – A Shady Glen Dr. woman called requesting an officer come to her home and help her with her cell phone.
Not a clean getaway – A person who entered Launderland on Alhambra Avenue to break into the change machine was captured on video.

Homemade gyser – A woman accidentally backed into a fire hydrant on Brown Street, causing a 50-foot high gyser of water to flood a neighboring home.

Tree trimming by hand – A man at the corner of Pine and Henrietta streets was pulling branches from trees and dropping them into the street. He was arrested.
Who let the dogs out – Someone came into a yard on Milden Road and let two huskies off leash to run around.
Getting kicks – A man is arrested for allegedly kicking cars and lying in the gutters outside of Armando’s on Marina Vista.

No fare – A woman on an Amtrak train is reported by the conductor evading paying her fare.
Smash and grab – A driver’s side window was broken and a purse and wallet taken from a car parked outside the 24-Hour Fitness Center on Alhambra Avenue.

Down in the mouth – Report of a dog at the Marina chasing ducks and growling at passersby.

Welcome to this century – A man reported that he frequently walks on Center Street and at least 30 drivers each day are talking or texting on cell phones while they drive.
When dogs run free – A Scenic Drive resident reports that two dogs are running free in his yard and he is afraid to leave his house.
Another smash and grab – A car parked at Alhambra High School had the driver’s window broken and a purse taken.
