Pot Bust Near Bay Point Leaves One Dealer 16 Pounds Lighter
A report of an armed person in unincorporated Bay Point on Wednesday turned into a pot bust in which 16 pounds of marijuana was seized.

BAY POINT - A report of an armed person in unincorporated Bay Point on Wednesday turned into a pot bust in which 16 pounds of marijuana was seized, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
After a call came in about an armed individual shortly after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a home in the first block of South Bella Monte Avenue, sheriff's officials said.
The deputies entered the home and during a protective sweep of the residence found a quantity of marijuana worth more than $12,000.

Sheriff's officials said Friday that there have not yet been any arrests in connection with this incident, though it is under investigation.
