Sports: 'Dogs Fall, Falcons Fail

An undefeated Las Lomas trampled the Dogs 38-0 on Knowles Field, while the Falcons fell to Freedom 35-0

Las Lomas High remain unbeated as it trounced Alhambra High, 38-0, on Friday night, according to the Contra Costa Times.

The Knights are now 5-0 for the season. The victory over the Bulldogs also gives Las Lomas a 1-0 record in the Diablo Foothill Athletic League.

Alhambra falls to 2-3. The Bulldogs had won two in a row coming into Friday night's game on their home field in Martinez.

Las Lomas led 24-0 in the third quarter and cruised to its fifth victory.

Freedom 35 College Park 0

The College Park Falcons lost to Freedom 35-0 as the Falcons suffered four fumbles and an interception, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Freedom, meanwhile, recovered a kickoff return fumble and returned it for a touchdown, while Freedom quarterback Dante Mayes completed 267 yards worth of passes.

Falcon QB ran for 125 yards, but never made it past the goal line.
