Street Closures Sunday For The Martinez MEF Run

The annual Shell/MEF Run for Education is Sunday morning, Oct. 7.  Here is the list of downtown street closures for the event.  The following streets will be closed between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM (though it typically does not take that long).  You can still register for the run at http://www.theschedule.com/EventInfo.cfm?EventID=39213.  All proceeds go to benefit the Martinez Unified School District schools, and Shell will match the first $10,000 in registrations.

• Main Street (between Berrellesa and Court Street)
• Alhambra (between Marina Vista and Soto Street)
• Marina Vista (between Berrellesa and Shell Avenue)
• Escobar (between Berrellesa and Miller)
• Soto (between Berrellesa and Alhambra)
• Berrellesa (between Soto and Buckley)
• Court (between Main Street and Marina Vista)
• Buckley (between Berrellesa and Talbert)
• Talbert (between Buckley and Carquinez Scenic Drive)
• Carquinez Scenic Drive
