The man struck and killed on train tracks in Menlo Park was indentified Sunday as 39-year-old <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/in/ericsalvatierra" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">PayPal Executive Eric Salvatierra</a>, according to the coroner's office. Salvatierra, a Palo Alto resident, was struck by a northbound train at about 9:30 a.m. on the train tracks at Ravenswood Avenue, Caltrain spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew said. Salvattierra was very involved at the he attended in Palo Alto, <a href="http://www.mercurynews.com/bay-area-news/ci_20151253/palo-alto-man-identified-fatal-caltrain-collision?source=rss" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Mercury News</a>. The incident is Caltrain's fourth fatality of 2012. There were 16 fatalities on its right of way last year. --Bay City News contributed to this report.
