Here at Menlo Park Patch, we place a high value on the beauty of human life.  Everyone has a unique way of looking at the world around them and altering the landscape; a of the in this town change it in a positive way.  Many of our and have people within them that are dedicated to providing services for their fellow human being.  That act is honorable and worthy of public accolades. 

That's why we're launching a page that is devoted to showcasing the positive things that Menlo Park residents are doing in the community.  At Menlo Park Patch, we understand that stories about disorderly things that happen in society are very interesting.  We'll keep running those as they are relevant to life.  Starting today, you'll be able to find all articles about volunteers and charitable activities in this topic page.  You'll also find opportunities to donate your time there from time to time.  The new section can be found by hovering your mouse over the "News" tab in the main navigation bar.  Click on "Philanthropy" to make the page appear.
