Limits on Downtown Parking Extended for Holidays
Menlo Park Police support "Shop Menlo Park" program.
City officials are giving the gift of time this holiday season by increasing the amount of hours that shoppers can leave a car in a lot in downtown Menlo Park.
Most parking lots limit drivers to two hours; but now you can leave your car there for three.
The change in time restrictions is the result of partnership between the and the ; both entities hope this will promote shopping at local retailers.
The one lot that is an exception to this temporary rule is the one by ; the posted hours there will remain in effect.
Red zones, loading zones, and on-street parking rules will not change. These holiday parking hours will end on Monday January 3, 2011.
Time restrictions are not enforced on Saturdays or Sundays.
