M.P. Fire District Buys House Alongside Station To Use As Office

MENLO PARK, CA -- The Menlo Park Fire Protection District bought a one-story, two-bedroom single family dwelling in the Belle Haven neighborhood next door to Fire Station 77 on Chilco Street.

The 790 square-foot house located at 1457 Chilco St. will be used as an office. The property situated steps away from Facebook's campus sold for $941,000. The purchase represents the district's expansion to manage the explosive growth on the southern Peninsula, with a slew of strategically-located properties the fire agency has efficiently grabbed to enhance operations.
