M-A PAC Hosting Sing-A-Long

The Menlo Park Performing Arts Center is hosting a Willy Wonka Sing-Along in July, the latest in the city’s summer fun lineup.

“We did a Grease Sing-along back in March and it was a blast!” said Matt Milde, recreation coordinator for the City of Menlo Park.

The M-A PAC will be showing the original 1971 musical starring Gene Wilder on June 14, 2013 from 1-3 p.m.  

Organizers encourage families to come watch the movie in costume, with their vocal chords warmed up and ready to sing along.  Songs in the movie include classic tunes such as “I Want It Now”  (I’ve Got A) “Golden Ticket” and “Pure Imagination.”

Tickets are $8. 

The Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center is located at 555 Middlefield Road in Atherton, California.
