Menlo Park City School District Seeks Community Input
Parent perspective sought to support district data.

This week is the last week that parents can take the Menlo Park City School District’s survey about their child's academic experiences in the district.
Ken Ranella, Superintendent is asking parents to complete an eight question survey about their perspective of the learning environment in the district's schools.
The goal of the survey is to get parent feedback that would help the district administrators understand if they are fulfilling the district's mission, which is “to inspire high academic achievement among all students, serve their needs, challenge their minds, enrich their lives and lay a foundation for success and participation in our democratic society and as citizens of the world,” according to the district website.

"Rather than determine the effectiveness of our schools’ educational programs solely by State testing, the District has carefully designed an evaluation system to annually assess our progress according to multiple measures," Ranella said, noting that the survey would take about five minutes.
The survey results will be compiled by Applied Survey Results.
