Clark’s Oyster Bar, Yeobo, Darling, and Café Vivant are drawing Bay Area food lovers into Menlo Park after dark, offering everything from inventive Taiwanese-Korean-American fusion to refined seafood and whimsical tasting menus right in your backyard.
   

• Drowning, leading cause of death for autistic children; YMCA hopes to expand a water safety program (record-bee.com) — A former YMCA camp counselor who now works for Menlo Park City School District helped spark a life-saving water safety program for neurodiverse kids after his autistic son nearly drowned. The YMCA of Silicon Valley’s adapted Safety Around Water classes in San Jose now offer free, specialized swim instruction, and the organization hopes to expand the program with new donations.
